This past weekend’s widespread power outages were incredibly disruptive across our neighborhoods. I am deeply concerned and frustrated by the impact these outages have had, and continue to have, on families and small businesses, especially during the holiday season. This fall’s legislative recess has given me the chance to truly be out in the community, and it’s been one of the most rewarding parts of my job. From the Marina and the Sunset to Daly City and the Richmond, I’ve spent the season meeting neighbors where they are: at community meetings, cultural celebrations, and town halls.
