Outside Lands Festival Weekend: Neighborhood Resources

Dear Neighbor,

This weekend, Friday, August 7 to Sunday, August 9, Golden Gate Park will once again host the Outside Lands Music Festival. As a neighbor of the festival, I want to make sure you know what to expect, what impacts you may experience, and where to turn if any issues arise.

To help address neighborhood concerns as quickly as possible, a community hotline has been established:

Community Hotline: (415) 965-8001

The hotline will be available during the following hours:

Take Action to Expand Reproductive Health Care Access

Access to reproductive health care shouldn't depend on where someone goes to school or how much money they have.

That's why I authored AB 2540, the Community College Student Right to Access Act, to ensure community college students have access to the same baseline reproductive health services that are already available on UC and CSU campuses.

Summer Update from Assemblymember Catherine Stefani

__SALUTATION__

I hope you're enjoying the summer and finding time to spend with family and friends.

The past several months have been busy and productive as I've worked to deliver results for the people of San Francisco and San Mateo County. From passing a balanced state budget to advancing legislation that improves public safety, expands access to health care, lowers costs for families, increases housing opportunities, strengthens consumer protections, and safeguards reproductive freedom, I've remained focused on the priorities that matter most to our communities.

Empty Housing Units Don't Help Anyone

__SALUTATION__

Thousands of Californians are living on our streets while supportive housing units sit vacant for months because of bureaucratic delays.

That's why I introduced AB 2146, the Direct Access to Supportive Housing (DASH) Act.

This bill will cut red tape and help fill vacant supportive housing units faster. When housing is available, we should be doing everything we can to get people off the streets and into stable housing.

Message From Catherine

__SALUTATION__

For the past year and a half, it has been an honor to represent you and our neighborhoods in the California State Assembly.

While in Sacramento, I remain focused on advancing legislation to improve public safety, expand access to health care, address affordability and housing challenges, protect reproductive rights, and strengthen consumer protections. These priorities are reflected in my 23-bill legislative package this year.

Power Outage Update and Storm Preparedness Resources

Dear Friend,

This past weekend’s widespread power outages were incredibly disruptive across our neighborhoods. I am deeply concerned and frustrated by the impact these outages have had, and continue to have, on families and small businesses, especially during the holiday season. That is why I want to ensure you have clear information about the resources available to you and how to prepare for additional storms expected to hit the Bay Area in the coming days.

Winter Update from Assemblymember Catherine Stefani

This fall’s legislative recess has given me the chance to truly be out in the community, and it’s been one of the most rewarding parts of my job. From the Marina and the Sunset to Daly City and the Richmond, I’ve spent the season meeting neighbors where they are: at community meetings, cultural celebrations, and town halls.
